Google Reader Roundup

  • Kidlit talks about how she evaluates full manuscripts. Very interesting stuff for those of you who have fulls out there under review. You're waiting, wondering, and here's what's actually going on.
  • Jessica Faust has another good post, this time about a ragey email from a writer whom she rejected. I'm including it in this roundup because I really hope no one reading this ever acts on the anger that might be caused by rejection. It's so wrong.

A useful list as always.

And I want to thank you for including my post from last January in your Round up of Round ups last week. Last night my computer was eaten by a hideous kind of malware (Immune to the most up-to-date MacAfee)that moves in looking like a sluggish Internet connection and then pounces on your hard drive and locks up everything.

I'm typing here on an ancient laptop I think Father Serra left behind when he was founding the SLO missionmy only access to the Internet. And of course my blogpost for Sunday that I was writing yesterday is gone. Now I'm off to the CC Writers conference (where I will MEET NATHAN!!)

But what will I do for my Sunday post? I'll repost the one you liked from January: 12 dos and don'ts for introducing your protagonist. Thanks for letting me know it was a goodie.

Then my next week, I hope I'll have a brand new computer.

Thanks guys and Don I love the perpetuation that landing a spot on my little GRR is like an Emmy!

Carrie and Julie and Travs, thanks for taking the time to tell me you like it. I love that.

Anne, sorry to hear about the malware, that scares the crap out of me since I haven't backed up!! One silver lining-- you get a new computer.
Have fun at the conference! Hope you blog about it.
